We had an awesome start to our working week today.
This morning for reading we read a NZ short story by Patricia Grace called 'It used to be green once' and the children are in the process of summarising and retelling the main idea through a Wevideo movie. I will share the finished products on our blog later in the week. For maths this week we are looking at the Little house phenomenon across the globe and begun by watching this awesome example of Kiwi ingenuity at its best. The children are using Floorplanner and Homestyler to create their own dream little house and are using the internet to research different ideas. I will also showcase the finished designs on here shortly too.
Our Turanganui Tournament begun today and was lot of fun. The students have three more rounds this week. They are allowed to wear sneakers for this competition.
