Welcome to Week 3

Hi everyone,

I hope you've been enjoying the weeknd with your whanau as I have.

Congratulations to Grace, Emily, Flynn, Charli and Jade who travelled to Tauranga last week for the winter sports tournament. I hope to have some pics from the event early in the week to share with you all.

Last week we celebrated Te Wiki o Te Reo and the children created this 'Kanikani' or Dance clip for one of our daily challenges. Mr Udall, Mr Hart and Mr Smith will be selecting a winner tomorrow.

Our Gisint Skate club also started last Friday and was attended by many excited 22'ers. Check out our highlights.

Please note that Koka Kat and myself will be away on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday to attend an exciting course for Mason so Mr Daryl File will be in our classroom and he will continue with a normal programme.

Thank you to the parents who have offered to transport to and from the Mindlab next Tuesday at 12:15pm. We still need a couple more cars so if you are free please email me. The children may bring in their $2 for the Mindlab anytime from now on up until the Tuesday we go. Thank you to those who have done so already.

Well done to Genna who came 1st in the Under 13 Boys and Girls Krazy Kayak Event in Whakatane over the weekend.

Also a big mihi to our three Friday assembly certificate recipients Josiah Stone, Genna Robertson and Mason Tuari. All three have made an awesome start to term three. Well done you three!

Here's Katelyn from Room 21 sharing the Team Trophy that is up for grabs when the T syndicates vs the W syndicates in a range of lunchtime sporting comps in week 6.

Our Turanganui syndicate enjoyed a game together after Wednesday's syndicate assembly. Cheers to Mr Barclay for running this.
