Evening all,
Thanks to everyone who attended the camp parent helper hui tonight. Toni and I are looking forward to heading away with you all. Apologies to everyone for not getting the donation confirmations out today - these will definitely come home tomorrow.
All children have had a camp info booklet shared with them via their Google Drive accounts. We will send a final camp reminder notice home on Friday.
Our syndicate tri is on tomorrow and hopefully our bike tyres are pumped, our togs, towel, pe gear and helmets are ready and we are all raring to go. It will be fantastic to all of our Turanganui Titan Year 7's to meet this challenge together.
Could whanau who are spectating please meet out at the backfield behind the cafe and tech block at 1:45pm as the girls will start then. We won't get out of class until 1:35 so there is no need to rush in before 1:45pm. The children will complete 1 run lap of the field, 2 bike laps and 3 swim laps before finishing where Koka Sam and Koka Kat will record their names. The boys will start at 2:00pm and the team event will take place at 2:25pm. We have strongly encouraged the children to participate in both events. You may take your child home after the triathlon but please check in with me first if you intend to do this so that I know.
Finally, the kids can dress up in their blue clothes if they wish or their Titan gear or they can save dressing up for the school tri when we intend to 'Blue Out' the school!
See you tomorrow at the tri - Ana
