What a fantastic afternoon for the Year 7 Turanganui Titans Triathlon. Mrs Joll, Miss Gee and I are very proud of all of our students for meeting the challenge and completing not only an individual tri but a team tri as well. There were lots of nervous children this morning but my highlight was having lots of people coming up afterwards saying how proud they were of themselves and shock horror they actually enjoyed the experience. Thanks heaps to all of our class whanau for supporting your children by ensuring their gear was organised and also to everyone who came down to support. Miss Gee, Mrs Joll and I all took different photos which we will upload and then share with the students via Google Drive.
Congratulations to Emily Horne - 2nd, Alessandra Evans 3rd, Genna Robertson 4th, Charlie Blackburne 6th and Flynn Cave 6th boy who have all made it through to the school event on the 24th March. The rest of our sydnicate will be 'blued out' or dressed as titans to support our Turanganui Reps. I am really proud of every 22'er! Nga mihi nui rawa atu ki a Matua Puri me Ruma Iwa for coming out and marshaling for us this afternoon - what awesome year 8 role models!
Dragon Maths Books - Thanks to everyone who has purchased these. We are currently working on Statistics so your child can start working on these tasks in their Dragon Maths books for homework. I have also seen a huge surge in Mathletics Results and activity too which is awesome!
Only 5 sleeps to go until camp...donation forms are definitely on the cards tomorrow!
