Tech and Life Ed tomorrow and final orders for doughnuts

Kia ora everyone,

It was so good to see all of my gorgeous kids today who were super on to it in class. Everyone sounded like they had a good time during the holidays and we got to see lots of pics from our overseas travellers which was great. For those of us who remained in Gisborne these holidays, the snow was a definite highlight.

Tomorrow morning we have our first session of Life Education followed by tech in the afternoon. I have also extended the last orders for doughnuts as many students indicated that they would like to purchase tomorrow. This term we will be focusing   on community spirit, generosity and kindness so this class fundraiser is a fantastic place to start. Unfortunately Oliver's funding did not come through so although he was meant to leave for the states this Friday he will now have to wait until next year. I spoke to the kids this morning and they were adamant that they still wanted to support Oliver with some of the costs that his family have incurred so far and as a koha for his future trip to the states. I am constantly proud of the children in our room for their kind and generous natures.

Thanks to all of the students who have been emailing through their holiday writing and four pictures - one word tasks. Don't forget to brainstorm your game ideas for your Invasion Game. You will share your ideas with your teams tomorrow.
