Ōpen Night, Art Exhibition and Black Out Day - Shared Lunch

Morena Koutou,

It's been a great start to the week and there have been so man awesome activities happening in and around Gisint.

Today Jade and Rigante will be heading to the Lawson Field Theatre with Mr Udall, Mr Notting and a small group of students to represent our school at the Te Ha exhibition. This afternoon we have our Gisint open night where prospective families and their children come round to check out the school. I do not need many helpers this evening and have asked the children who are involved with other groups to come along to class after they have finished.

A reminder that tomorrow is Black Out Day to support the All Blacks and our class are having a shared lunch as well. If your child is able to bring something black themed in then that is great but otherwise normal food will be much appreciated too. The children can come to school dressed in their Blacks and they can stay in them all day. If they prefer to run in pe gear then they may get changed otherwise they may show their team support with balloons, ribbons or signs. It is a great idea to ensure your child has sunscreen, a hat and lots to drink tomorrow as we will be in the sun all day.

Apologies for not sending the camp letter home. My printing computer had a broken keyboard which is now being fixed so I will send the Med Form home tonight.

There has been some fantastic work completed over the last couple of weeks and I will be sharing this with you all in the weeknd. We had awesome results from the science fair, athletic sprint events and outside of school so stay tuned for photos and write ups about this.

Have a wonderful end to your week.
Ana
